TMZ initially reported that the actress and singer was admitted due to a 'heroin overdose'. However, a source close to Demi denied the rumours and requested silence on the matter to honour the request of her friends and family.
Lovato was found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home and was rushed in an ambulance. She is currently being treated. Lovato has fought substance abuse for years now, even being admitted to rehab, and stayed sober for six years. A couple months ago, Lovato released the single 'Sober', which detailed her long battle with drugs and indicating that she might have relapsed. Here's hoping for a quick recovery for Lovato.
