Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's first Hindi film Dhadak has managed to put up an impressive total at the end of day three at the box office. The Shashank Khaitan directorial has raked in Rs 33. 67 crore in its opening weekend, which is quite amazing, especially considering the fact that the movie is facing stiff competition from Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju and Diljit Dosanjh's Soorma, which are still going pretty strong at the ticekt windows. It's also commendable that Dhadak - starring two new comers has managed to hold its own at the box office despite the tough competition.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the box office collections of Dhadak. He shared that Dhadak raked in Rs 13.92 crore on Sunday which takes the opening weekend total of the film to Rs 33. 67 crore.
Here's the box office breakdown of Dhadak:
Friday: Rs 8.71 crore
Saturday: Rs 11. 04 crore
Sunday: Rs 13.92 crore
Total: Rs 33.67 crore

The movie Dhadak, is an official adaptation of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi hit titled Sairat. While the original was much loved and appreciated by one and all, and it also managed to cross the coveted Rs 100 crore mark, it'll be interesting to see whether the remake - Dhadak, is able ti replicate the success of the original.
The new kids on the block - Janhvi and Ishaan have been much appreciated in the film and the movie is currently riding high on a good word of mouth. Watch this space for the latest updates...
