Vivo has launched its flagship smartphone, the Vivo NEX in India today at an event in New Delhi. The device is priced at Rs 44,990 and will go on sale via Amazon India from July 21. It will be available via the company website as well as Vivo stores across the country.
Those interested to purchase the device can get Rs 5,000 extra discount on exchange of an older smartphone. Additionally, there are various cashback offers if the device is purchased from HDFC credit and debit card along with assured buyback offers.
The smartphone features a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution of 2316 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB RAM along with Adreno 630 GPU. It includes an internal storage of 128GB and does not include a microSD card slot.
Running Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top, it sports dual camera set up - 12-megapixel rear camera with 5MP secondary sensor having f/1.8 aperture. The camera supports Vivo’s AI recognition tools for smoother user experience. However, the highlight of the device is the 8-megapixel pop-up selfie camera which reveals itself when you activate the front camera on the camera app. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, and USB Type-C. A 4,000 mAh battery completes the package.
