Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with 6.9-inch full-HD+ display, 5,500mAh battery launched in China

Xiaomi has launched the Mi Max 3 in China and is currently available for pre-orders. It will be available in China starting July 20. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs 17,300) while the 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 20,400). At the moment, there is no information provided as to when the device will launch in India.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor and will be available in 4GB/6GB RAM options along with Adreno 509 GPU. It will be offered in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB.

The smartphone will come equipped with a vertical dual camera set up – 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/1.9 aperture. It also includes an 8MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C. The smartphone is backed up by a 5,400mAh battery along with support for Quick Charge 3.0 18W charging. The company says it can be charged to 71 percent in one hour.
