International president of Vishva Hindu Parishad Vishnu Sadashiv Kokje said that the talks surrounding making of Ram Temple in Ayodhya are baseless.
It is only after the Supreme Court passes a judgement that Ram Mandir will be built, he said. He said that the common believe is that since the BJP is in power they can easily get the law into force, but in reality it is the court with which the power lies to bring about a ruling on Raj Mandir.
Kokje was on a visit to Jodhpur on Saturday. During a press conference, he also said that the present Modi government is the protector of Hindu interests and if the Hindu community also come out in support of the government, the society will be benefited. However, he refused to comment on the Modi government’s four-year term, Article 370 in Kashmir among other issues.
Talking about VHP, he said that the organisation is working on the issues of cow protection and social harmony. He also blamed the bureaucracy for their lax attitude regarding Ram temple, but added that it was after the arrival of Modi and the Yogi government the bureaucracy also started working.
