On Thursday night during a routine checking sector 2 police squad recovered four crude bombs, 12 pipe bombs, a country made pistol and a bottle of kerosene oil from the terrace of a house of listed bootleggers named Guddu in Gomtipur area right one day before the 141st Jagannath Rath Yatra in the city.
During the investigation it was revealed the bombs were freshly made and somebody had planted them on Guddu's terrace.
As per police information, primary three accused, who have past dispute with Guddu, has been nabbed by Gomtipur police. They had allegedly planted the bombs.
